Android vs IOS Technology has many controversial topics and the OS battle is one on top. Around the world people are choosing weather to go with android as there first smart-phone or IOS. There are many factors that new buyers tend to look for when choosing there first smart-phone. When a new smart-phone user chooses there first phone they look for how the phone will work in day to day operation, what kind of apps can you get, what and how can you customize it to make it yours and how secure it is. The power users out there may even look at the differences between rooting an android vs jailbreaking an IOS device. Its almost guaranteed that if you talk to someone who has used both types of OS they will have a strong opinion about which is best. When it comes down to using your phone daily, I think of email, calendar alerts and internet use. With both IOS and Android having over one million apps available it makes them about even. The thing that separates them is not how many or what kind of apps they offer its actually how easy it is to program and get the final product on the app market. Android apps are programmed using C, C++ and Java. It is an "open" platform; anyone can download the Android source code and Android SDK for free. Anyone can create and distribute Android apps for free; users are free to download apps from outside the official Google Play store. Sense there is such a wide variety of devices out there for android, it gives the developers the option to make really power hungry apps for top notch devices. IOS apps are programmed differently than android using Objective-C instead of java and C. This makes IOS harder to program for because most people who program, learned how to with C or java so that is what they are most comfortable
