They both play a vital role in a child. It is important that the child gets both, nature and nurture. If a child lacks one or the other, it could affect the child during its adulthood. If the child grows up with no money, the child might steal food for their family so they have something to eat. As the child gets older, the child continues to steal items that it wants. This then leads to the child getting in trouble with the law and might even end up going to prison. Nature and nurture play a role in that. The child didn’t have a good influence of intellectual growth of knowing that stealing is wrong, but the child also didn’t have good economic factors, because the family had no money. An adopted child would have more in common with an adopted family. Then traits are more nurturing due to similar environmental events. It can show how going from a parent that wasn’t giving a child nature or nurture to one that does can ultimately save that child’s life. It can also show that a child can be re-directed about an event. An example of that would be a child that goes from having no money and barely eating, can now count on always getting three meals a day. It shows that the genetics and genes that the child was given isn’t whom the child has to be. If criminal activity runs in the child’s family, then the child could inherit the criminal activity. However, if that child is adopted, a new family could change that behavior. Another example could be that the child is doing criminal behavior, because the parents raised the child wrong.
