The book and the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, were alike and different in many ways. In the movie, Walter had a wife, in the book he did not have a wife, but he did like a woman that worked where he worked. Making the movie better and more interesting. And in both, Walter daydreamed a lot, some about different things. In the movie, a lot of his daydreams were about the woman he liked… So clearly they would be different in the book since he had a wife. All in all, they did have many similarities and differences, some in which making the movie
