The inconsistent portrayal of Katniss’s character made it more difficult to find the theme of The Hunger Games. If the audience were to read the book versus watch the movie of The Hunger Games, they would find that Katniss’s character reactions and interactions were completely different than those of the book and would find it more difficult to find the theme of the story.
