Differences Between The Crucible Play And Movie

Throughout the film of The Crucible, there were many changes made from the play. These changes made the film have more drama and meaning within all of the characters in the story. It was also fascinating to see the characters evolve throughout the story. It was easier to see how drastic these changes were to the characters within the movie because the viewer could actually see them change. The characters that evolved the most were Proctor and Hale. Both characters changed immensely as they grew and learned, whether it was love or incite on others. When Hale first arrived in Salem, he had a clean slate with everyone so he could not put much effort into believing some of the accusations were false. His mindset quickly changed soon after meeting
