The differences between the book and movie the outsiders
The book was written by S.E Hinton. The book was a good book the boys each have each others backs they don't need anybody but each other especially not the greasers because they are mean boys who think they are better than everybody because they are rich boys who beat up greasers and they like to do that because they are rude bullies but the boys each have echothers back and they can hopefully protect themselves from the greasers.

I think the outsiders was a good book if you wanted to know about true friendship when his ponyboy was drowning and johnny went to go save him and it meant that he had to kill someone for his friend but that shows a lot for who he truly is it doesn't matter

S.E Hinton wrote the outsiders when she was in high school and did not plan to publish the story. Since then it has been made into a book and a movie. I think the book was bad because it did not give the effects that the movie did. I liked the movie because it had more of the story put into it detail wise. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story.…

Did you know that in the movie the Outsiders when Ralph Macchio (Johnny) auditioned to play the part of Johnny he rubbed dirt on his face just so he could get the part of Johnny. In the days since the book and the movie are still blowing minds. I thought the book didn’t explain each scene far enough into detail. I thought the movie was more into detail and you could actually see what it was like in real life. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story.…

Did you know that the movie for the outsiders is only roughly one hour and thirty minutes. Some might say that the movie the outsiders makes you have less sympathy for Johnny and Dally. I am saying this because in the book Dally sounds like he wanted to die more in the book. I am saying this because when it was written in the book even said he had a look of triumph in his eye, and in the movie, it seemed that he was scared and how he didn't want to die. The book is better.…
