In the book, the main character, Guy Montag lived in a dystopian society, meaning that it was imagined and imperfect. Though they did try their best to make their society perfect, it just wasn’t working out. Probably because there is no such thing as reaching perfection. Well, that’s what most think.
Still, today’s modern day life is most definitely different from the dystopian society in Fahrenheit 451. Sure they had some things that we do. Bluetooths, televisions, robots, and firemen, but most of them served a different purpose.
