Many people believe that gender, sex, and sexuality are one in the same. A common belief that if you 're born with a certain sex, that you must have a specific sexuality that correlates with your sex, and your gender status in society. Scientific, and psychological evidence proves that there is a difference between sex, gender, and sexuality. Evidence also proves that we can not form a relationship on sex, sexuality, and gender based on religion, or opinions. In chapter 2 of Gendered Worlds, we learned that there is a difference between sex, sexuality, and gender. In this argument, we will properly define the terms, sex, sexuality, and gender. Sexuality also includes our emotional involvement, and fantasy. Sexuality is sometimes called sexual orientation. There are many terms that refer to sexuality. There are, homosexuality, lesbianism, heterosexuality, bisexuality, omnisexuality, and asexuality. For example, heterosexual, which describes men and women that are attracted to the opposite sex. There is also homosexual, which describes men and women that are attracted to the same sex. There is also bisexual, which refers to someone who is attracted to both, the opposite sex, and same sex. These are some of the most common forms of sexuality, or sexual orientation that is seen in today 's world. Now different forms of sexuality is being seen as a more common thing in today 's society. Which is a lot of progress, compared to the past, where being heterosexual was thought to be the only proper form of sexuality. And, people who weren 't heterosexual were looked down upon. Sexuality is still a big issue in today 's society. For example, on June 26, 2015 is when gay marriage was finally legalized in all 50 states. Sex, is more of a biological concept. It is based on something that we are born with, and something we have no control over. Our sex can be altered to fit our personal fit, but this would be more like changing our gender. We change our change gender to better fit the norm 's of society. For example, in an American society mostly women wear dresses and skirts. If a men starts to wear skirts, and dresses he is judged, and is called gay. This same men, can go in and have his sexual organs and out appearance to be changed to look more like a female, but now he is also trying to alter his gender role. He is altering his role in society, so that it can be accepted by his culture in society. This is a perfect example of showing the difference between sex and gender. Gender has a lot to do with society, while sex has more to do with nature.

Comparing sexuality, to sex, and gender, it is more easier to see the difference. Sexuality has more to do with what you 're personally interested in. What you are sexually, emotionally, and spiritually attracted to. Sexuality doesn 't correlate with sex. Just because, you 're a man, doesn 't always mean you will be attracted to females.
