Differences Between Race, Religion, And Gender

Decent Essays
Yes, everyone is different in their own way. But no one should be judged or treated by their religion, race, or gender. Judging others does not define them, it defines you. Everyone is born equal, no matter race, religion, or gender. Therefore I believe that your race, religion, or gender does not define you and also that everyone is born equal, no one is superior than another. So embrace your individuality, love what you love without being afraid of judgement.

After discussing, the one thing that I think connects us. It is a good time to move on from the interview to the comparative culture portion of the paper, I feel there is a lot that needs to be discussed. One major thing I noticed is that we both struggle a lot with our race, ethnicity, and nationality. The similarity comes in that we both seemed to have difficulty defining our actual ethnicity. For Louis he is struggling with being ‘American’ and Hispanic within that nationality.…

Gender differences in personality traits have been documented in many empirical studies. For instance, Maccoby and Jacklin (1974) conducted the first major review of research on sex-related differences in cognition, temperament, and social behaviour in children and adults. They concluded that men are more assertive and less anxious than women. However, there were no differences found for two other traits analysed, locus of control and self-esteem. The reason for such gender differences to exist is due to the interaction between culture, biology, gender roles and gender-role ideology.…

The four cognitive areas where gender differences are most shown is in memory, verbal abilities, mathematics abilities, and spatial abilities. Memory tests tend to show that women scored higher than men, especially when asked to recall certain words. Women also recalled more words from a “grocery store” list” and recalled as equally with men in the “hardware store” list. They also can recall events from their own lives more than men, perhaps because mothers encourage expressing emotions to their daughters more than to their sons, and therefore they get more practice in this area. They can even remember faces more than men, including individuals’ faces from different ethnic groups and their physical traits.…

Even though men and women are different, they also have their similarities. To say one is superior to the other would be ludicrous.
