I learned a lesson from the book “Green Eggs And Ham” by Dr Seuss also know as Theodor Seuss Geisel I learned that trying new things is good.

I learned that don’t be picky and try new stuff, like in the book sam one of the main characters in the book wanted the other character to try the green eggs and ham but the other character refused to try the green eggs and ham but sam didn’t stop and follows the other character until the other character tries the green eggs and ham at the end of the book. It's good if you try new things that we think it taste bad so you know how it taste and you can.

Most of the time, when an idea, project or activity seems daunting, your first reaction might be to “leave it to the experts.” This may seem the easiest route, considering that it takes the challenge off of your shoulders and places the weight of the problem on someone that you deem better equipped to handle it. However, it sometimes isn’t the most rewarding or beneficial in the long term. Some people believe that one is born with a special, innate talent that gives them a significant advantage in obtaining mastery in certain areas.…

I'm certainly not the person who wants the challenge I will seek help and should my technical reasoning just fail me completely I will once again seek help and or pass the task on if possible. I use my CONFLUENT as needed I do like doing things my way and at times I don't like to follow the rules because I may think my way is better but being the risk taker and having lack of structure and not doing things accordingly can ultimately set up for failure in some cases and I've learned that in my past by making those very mistakes and that's not a pattern I choose to be in the habit of. I've learned so much about my learning style in this chapter and it's basically things that I already knew about myself but wasn't able to articulate them properly. By learning these patterns I can see how they will be effective and help me in my life as far as work and my personal relationships.…

In Benjamin Hoff’s The Tao of Pooh, about 10 major Taoist teachings are covered through stories using the more familiar characters and concepts of Winnie the Pooh. Of these, the lessons on the understanding of inner nature, or cottlestone pie, and the story of the stonecutter, or that sort of bear, were those which I found most similar to my own goals. Both are focused on overcoming some sort of self-imposed obstacle, whether that be social anxiety or low self-esteem. Both of these also had an underlying more positive message than that offered by Buddhism or Confucianism. Where Buddhism tells me I must remove all desire to achieve happiness, and Confucianism says to turn towards my given role in life, Taoism offers the suggestion of just “being”.…

I agree with Mark Twain’s advice. Mark Twain’s advice is “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bow lines. Sail away from the harbor.” This quote can be abridged to “have no regrets.”…

1.The most significant thing I learned last week was the Four Lenses lesson principle. In this lesson, I learned about the different temperaments, colors or preferences that make individuals unique on our own way and that every person was born with a pre-deposition temperament. The Shipley communication assessment was fun; the result was shocking because it shows that my previous secondary color blue is now my primary color and my previous primary color gold is now my secondary. By knowing the different colors, it will help how I communicate and approach people with a different preference. 2.…

The idea behind my project is to show how the aphorisms were always running through Morrie's mind. I drew a silhouette of Morrie and filled it with aphorisms that stood out to me. I did this to show that Morrie, himself, came up with these aphorisms, and not someone else. Morrie used the aphorisms to teach and get a point across in a way that is easy to understand. My project is another tool to help get Morrie's many messages read.…

From the moment we are born we begin to learn important lessons teach us. These lessons are essential in helping to shape our character, and ultimately lead to who we become. Everybody has had that moment when someone, or even possible something, has taught you a valuable lesson that you will never forget. I know that I’ve had a multitude of them, but most of them I can’t remember the specific situation that transpired to teach me the lesson. For example, I can’t remember the first time that I touched a hot stove and realized that I probably shouldn’t do that.…

Expectations. It spans from the first impression and someone creates who they think you are in their mind. After that, it’s up to you to prove to that person that they are right or wrong about the person they met. It is impossible to know who a person is just on meeting them the first time so most likely the original expectations are incorrect. People will surprise you with who they are so we should focus more on getting to know what’s on the inside rather than what is presented on the surface.…
