Binh and Phuoc Wagner are three-year-old twins, who are in desperate need of another liver donor. The adopted Vietnamese girls have a life-threatening condition, known as Alagille syndrome, which causes severe liver damage. In 2014, the twins’ condition worsened, causing them to land a spot on the waiting list for organs. Nevertheless, the father, Michael Wagner, discovered he was a donor match, but he would only be able to provide his liver donation to one of his two children. This is due to the fact that liver tissue regenerates slowly, causing him to only be able to give just enough liver tissue to save one of his daughters. This means the doctor who is treating Binh and Phuoc will have to decide which of the two is sicker, and she will
