Although Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton are obviously two different people and are from different time periods, they are similar in many ways. Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton correlate in many personal and political levels. One similarity Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton have is their political policies on the rights of all citizens to own weapons. Another similarity of Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton is that they caused the death of innocent people. Last, but not least, Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton selected one segment of the country’s population to impose hefty taxes to be distributed elsewhere. Adolf Hitler approved a three step plan to strip the Jewish community of their wealth. The first step was that all Jewish citizens would have to declare their wealth. A ten-year prison sentence and confiscation of their wealth would occur if any assets were hidden. The second step was to impose a 20% tax on the declared wealth, which raised millions for the government. Then Adolf Hitler’s government confiscated all of the Jewish wealth and issued them worthless bonds so that it would not appear to be stealing. As if this wasn’t enough, the Hitler government levied a 50% surtax on certain German groups. (Mariotti, 2016) Hillary Clinton wants to impose hefty taxes on the wealthy citizens of America just because they are rich. She wants to impose a four percent surcharge tax on Americans that earn more than five million dollars a year. She wants to impose a twenty-four percent tax rate for certain dividend and long-term capital gain income, and enact the “Buffett” rule which is a thirty percent minimum tax on tax payers with an adjusted gross income of one million or more. (Pomerleau 2016) Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton differentiate in some ways also. One of the most obvious differences is that Adolf Hitler is a man and Hillary Clinton is a woman. The deaths of millions of innocent Jewish people are attributed to Adolf Hitler. This is a stark contrast to the deaths of four American Hero’s attributed to Hillary Clinton. Adolf Hitler was prejudiced and despised a whole race. Hillary Clinton doesn’t seem to be prejudiced against any race but supports abortion. Adolf Hitler was living in the early 1900’s, and has died.
