The society and culture of Ancient Rome is what helped set up the society and culture of the United States today, especially in politics. There are many similarities between Ancient Rome and the United States when it comes to society, culture, and politics. Even though Ancient Rome was under a Roman Republic hundreds of years ago with a different society and culture, modern day politics in the United States still functions in similar ways as it did in Ancient Rome. The culture of Ancient Rome politics was set up with branches of government similar to the way it is in politics today. It is now known that Ancient Rome politics had a lot of corruption and it was not very stable. There were many problems in creating and enforcing the laws.
