When I was on a train, I started a conversation with a woman and excitably described a new state of mind. I told her my life had improved after I employed a different system of thought. At the beginning, she was dubious of my motives and asked “You’re not a scientologist, are you?” My mental fog had cleared, a metaphysical understanding took its place and our brief conversation influenced me to find more ways to articulate it. The initial reasoning behind this report was to have my own reference for a discovery that’s helped - helping to shape my personality. After a while, I realized I had something to share with others.
I don’t seek claim on an idea, am not preaching a religion, or am I stating a manifesto. ‘Options For Living’ simply lays a foundation to monitor an expanding belief that I aspire to include into every moment of my day. I hope that my illuminated appreciation of this train of thought can be identified with, by those who’ve found, or seeking coping mechanisms of their own. The following series of events preceded my current use of mind over matter.

On the one hand, the heart secures stability and has - unfailingly - my best interests prioritized. This acceptable concept is available at anytime in the process and is particularly useful in alleviating confusion. When the heart says naked truths about a situation it can be defeating, especially when I’m unwilling to deal with a challenge. In the event of bad timing, or internal conflict, I find a solution through using compromise.
