The Difference Education between the United States and Thailand All countries in the world are unique, that have many things the same and different, in term of education between the United States and Thailand. The education is the process of people get knowledge and learn the new things to get the many experiences. The purpose of education is lifelong learning and success in life. All of countries provide the education for civilian and want them to success in their life and can to develop the countries. The first is the approaches to teaching. The approaches to teaching in the United States and Thailand is the teacher-center and children-center. They are focused on teacher and children. This approach is integrated between both of them. Those countries didn’t focus only approaches, but I think it’s good and appropriated for teachers and students. The second is the students’ responsibility that are similar in term of homework and final project. The students have to do it and all of teacher in the United states and Thailand are emphasizing on it. They think it helps students to understand the knowledge and evaluate the students’ responsibilities and students’ abilities. And the last that the similarities of education between the United States and Thailand is the education system. Both countries are similar to begin with the nursery for preparing children before they go to school. In the school the beginning is the kindergarten for 3 years and the next is the primary school, secondary school, and high school. If they graduate the high school many people go to the university more than the college. I think the most people think the university provide the best education, that’s the same. The first is time. The period of time in the United States is different from Thailand. In the United States provide 50 minutes- 1 hour/period and students study this subject every day, but in Thailand provide 2-4 hour/period in the subject only one time in the week. The habit of teacher in the United States they are on time,but different from Thailand teacher and students are a little late of time when begin the class. Because Thailand didn’t provide time to change the classroom for students and teacher. So the time to change classroom makes students and teacher begin the class late. The second is the uniform, the United States students were uniform until they graduate from high school, but in Thailand students have to wear uniforms even though they study in the university. It is Thailand traditional to show the students’ discipline. Also the third is the university life that is different. In Thailand, the university life is seniority and have many funny and good freshman activities to emphasize on university, teachers, upper-classmate, and make freshman is unity, but the United State didn’t have seniority and a few freshman activities, because the culture of the United States don’t focus on seniority.
