Case Study: Houston Dialysis Centre Question 1 Houston Dialysis Center is among the several departments of Houston General Hospital; which is a full service and nonprofit-making institution. This factor indicates that as much as some profits are realized from operations in other departments of the hospital, the hospital’s focus remains as a center for providing care to the patients. Since this is the facility’s focus, it was justifiable for the hospital’s chief finance officer to prioritize the plight of outpatients who needed more space at the hospital. Furthermore, dialysis patient’s plight was also taken care of through the plan to construct a dialysis center away from the outpatient’s premises. It was therefore unjustifiable for Linda to quit the hospital just because she was prone to lose her bonus by the end of the year.…

The area of my topic for my Capstone Project is the environment and the United States should stop the production of the North Dakota Access Pipeline. The pipeline is 1,172 miles long and it will transport 470,000 barrels of oil per day. The pipeline will begin in North Dakota, travel through South Dakota, and Iowa, and end in central Illinois. The pipeline will be placed through the Standing Rock Sioux land, which is in North Dakota, and the pipeline would affect their only water supply if the pipeline spills. I chose this area because the media doesn't show what is happening in North Dakota and I want people to be informed about what is going on in our country and stand with Standing Rock to end this battle.…

Gina Ricketts is our Central Oregon Community College Native American Program Director. Her speech on Don't Get Sick After June is an incredible eye opening experience that takes a look into the health care abuse that native americans get from the united states government. The demonstration of the concreteness of terms that is the threat to the local areas will have a impact on the people. The HonorHealth organization is doing this step of trying to accept the change, it may at times be just easier to persuade a buy-in, than any other idea at this point of transition (Marker, n.d.). The solid examples will show how the change will impact them specifically in their local community or organization; then the employees are more likely to adopt the necessary modifications. When HonorHealth makes a case for a significant change the use of change agents is utilized, because of the use charts, tables and lots of numbers, which is what statistical people want to see, the proof (Marker, n.d.). When making things appear appealing to the whole brain; quantitative information is needed for the analytical left side that controls the processing phase.…

The topic of my term paper is Domestic Violence among Native Americans on tribal land/reservations. My study question is “What are the causes of domestic violence on reservations. This is significant because it is known that domestic violence is a big issue on reservations and knowing the causes can help to lower domestic violence rates on reservations. Having awareness of the issues of domestic violence and cause may give a better understanding of stereotypes of Native Americans and provide facts on the accuracy of the stereotypes. It is also important because “The National Congress of American Indians declared violence against Native Americans, particularly those living on tribal lands, as the most critical issue faced by Native Americans”…
