During the last few months I have been overwhelmed with work and have spent my Sundays trying to catch up with all the work that I need to do. That means that I have had to eat prepared foods more than I would like too.

I seasoned the chicken well with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, curry powder, and sage. I tossed the pieces around in the BBQ sauce mix and put them in the oven. The outside was golden brown and sticky.…

Bodanis listed what makes up the toothpaste, “so it’s, chalk…and fluoride” (Bodanis, 12). His list included many things that a reader could possibly be unaware of so, if a reader reads the list and notices that they do not know what one of the ingredients are they will be more aware about the fact that they must start paying attention to the ingredients. For example, at Tagus Ranch one evening, I noticed in the corner of our mess hall an eating contest involving sausages and potato salad. Suddenly there was a pushing crowd and a call for medics. It turned out that the contestant had eaten 36 sausages, thereby winning a bet that he could not eat more than 35.…
