Service and product marketing has surfaced the quite serious issue in the contemporary society. Some people insist that the service and product can alter in marketing society.
In this essay I will assert my opinions about how the difference between service and product marketing by applying the 8 P's of marketing.

To begin with, I will start by what is difference between product marketing and service marketing?

A product is tangible. It is normally a thing that sold to people and can be touched, felt, smelled, tasted and heard.

The marketing of product is particularly focused on 4P’s in marketing mix. There are the four critical elements in marketing your products and business.
There are product, price, place and promotion with 4P's.

Price is the value placed on a product or service that how much you charge for your product. It can be referred to the component of the marketing mix are: fee, rate, valet parking and premium.

In the hotel, most of the service are provided if you happen to pay the price for the service. You will be able to perceive price and the value that associates with a product or service that influences the purchase and the level of customer's satisfaction.

Price sets a value standard for the service and determines the service's profit margin and marketing decisions. A low price will not mean the higher profits. Because the selling quality will be the price, which is higher than the bargain basement deals. But too lower price can affect the overall view of the hotel company.

Thirdly, promotion is the advertising and selling part of marketing. It is how you let people know what you have got for the sale. The purpose of promotion is to understand what your product is and why they want it. You reallys want the customers, who are looking for a product to know that your product satisfies their

The target audience will be the people, who are there to travel or for staying for the holidays to stay at hotel
The message has to be clear to target your audience’s attention. Promotion has a few key marketing channels which consist of advertising, public relations, personal selling, and sales promotions
Advertising and publicity are forms of mass communication using a variety of media such as TV, radio, newspaper, magazines, direct mail, and the Internet.
Most common advertisement is the TV ad or the online ad, but this is the paid form of mass communication with an identified sponsor, while a non-paid form of mass communication ‘Mouth to mouth’ can be the best option without a sponsor.
The promotion on the product in order to persuade customers and motivate the sale in a short term.

The place of product marketing refers to distribution channels to deliver to your customer and sell the products. For example, hotel room service is one of the of course things that offer to your room.
Because services generally are purchased and used at the same time, the location where the service is delivered plays a role in the promotion, price and
