Essay On Secularism In Brazil

In my group, we discussed many issues and the difference between France and Brazil in a secular perspective. Well, to start off Brazil and France is completely different, France is a secular country which basically means that you cannot practice your religion in public and you need to keep it in private when practicing your religion. In Brazil is completely the opposite of secularism, you can practice your religion anywhere in Brazil and they have opened mosques in Brazil when Muslim people start populating and they respect every single religion. Which Brazil has no state religion and no rules against any religion! Also, France would worry about what the Muslim people can and can’t wear, which is a big issue in France. Like the issues of Muslim females wearing Hijab and Niqab, but the people of France are always wondering why many Muslim people don’t work. Overall, some people think secularism is great and others don’t feel the same way. In the Islamic community, Hijab and Niqab are very important, but is banned for the Muslims women’s in France. France does seem to be not honest because sometimes there reason why they don’t want Islam people not to wear scarf is because secularism and the next day they are worried about a Muslim Terrorist attack. What’s the really reason? Also in Franc they complain about how the Muslim people are not working in France, but how are female Muslims going to work if you are not allowing them to wear there hijab due to religious purposes.
