Discrimination, `Prejudice and Racism Racism and prejudice are social problems that have always been present and that has not been overcome over the years. People believe that racism and prejudice are things that don’t occur anymore because it is not seen as often as it was before. The truth is that racism is still occurring around the world and it’s a social problem that has and will always be there. Those are things that no matter how many years pass, time will not affect the way that people fell towards others. It could be because of their ethnic group, race or even because of their religion. Some examples of the races that are victims of racism and prejudice through out the years are Jews, black people, and Christians. An event that could be considered a modern day Holocaust is the killing of Christians around the world. In the Middle East, Christians are being chased and persecuted because of what they believe. The religion intolerance is a has became an increasing problem that result in discrimination and violence several countries in Middle East and Asia. (.Seymour, 2014) This problem can lead to the a civil war that cause the death of many people. Racism, discrimination and prejudice are social problems that have been present throughout all world history. The reasons of which these problems occur are because of the loss of moral values, religion intolerance, social status differences and economical inequality. The fanaticism represents a corrupt expression of truly religious values. The results of these actions are rejections, protests, and even violence.
