Difference Between Malala And Transcendentalism

Transcendentalism was a protest to the Industrial Revolution during the time period from 1830s through the civil war. Transcendentalists were concerned with the changes of society and culture due to the increase of technology Transcenchalsim wanted to preserve societies and make their world better. Although they bear some superficial the difference between Thoreau and malala are pronounced. Although Malala and Thoreau were both Transcendentalist they were born in two different time periods.Thoreau was born in the 1940s in Concord massachusetts. He believed to not follow what everyone else was doing he marched to his own drum. By doing this he was put to jail for not paying the tax.While Malala was born in 1997 in Mingora Pakistan. Malala believed in having a good education and standing up for herself. By this she went to school when she was banned from it. Even though Malala and Thoreau were prompted in acts of civil disobedience each followed the principles of individualism. For example, Malala and the girls in her country were banned from going to school, cultural events,dancing and watching television . Malala was very upset about the taliban taking away her rights. Some of the main points from malala and Thoreau are they both broke a law that there city put on them. Next malala and thoreau were very brave to break the law and were not scared what was going to be put in their way. Lastly Malala and Thoreau both share they were able to stand up for them self to tell what they thought was right. The future shares a lot about how malala and Thoreau lived. For example Thoreau u and Malala were born 100 years apart. Thoreau was born in the 1940s while Malala was born in 1997. Another example for the future is that Malala’s country is still having major problems with the taliban and wars .But it is not as worse as it was when Malala lived
