There is talk all around the U.S. that the legal and illegal immigrants are taking jobs for themselves and not giving Americans a chance. The main problem is most Americans in the U.S. do not want to work and complain later. I have had personal experiences with legal and illegal immigrants. There are statistics of how we need immigrants and how they are somewhat of a threat to our nation. There will always be some benefits for having immigrations come from across the border to work, nevertheless disadvantages will always be a factor when involving migrants for work. An illegal immigrant is a foreigner who enters the U.S. without an entry or immigrant visa, especially a person who crosses the border by avoiding inspection or who overstays the period of time allowed as a visitor, tourist, or businessperson. It compares to being an alien. The legal immigrant can be transported to the U.S. through the farmers being involved in a program. The employers have pay money to travel the migrants to their destination. Illegal immigrants will not be able to join the program due to criminal background and the reasoning of being illegal, unless passing some tests in order to be involved. When the legal immigrants are in the United States, they are required to pay taxes, stay a legal citizen, respect the laws of the U.S. While the illegal immigrants do not have to pay taxes and can jump state to state with no problem. Coming across the border is suffering to the ones that cannot afford to go over or the ones that has that right they don’t need to. Most of them come for work, unlike the allowed ones who have the money and that knowledge to reach that land. Not a lot of immigrates are educated. An average of nine percent only attained some form of higher education. Some legal immigrates are not educated either, and they also work in a farm work as well. Approximately may receive employment, housing, regularly pay, and raises just about each year. Some illegals would also obtain some of the same factors, but cannot due to being illegal. It is not considered slave work as what people would say about illegal immigrates, the farmers would have to compensate for the other workers in order to get the same amount. Also, for the sake of the farmer, would have to be careful unless the punishment would be put on him as well for hiring an illegal.
