Big………………... hmmm Icelandic students are supposed to learn English during many years, and you know people from western Europe have less background and take longer time learning English, they are fast getting into to it nonetheless. Then there are some students that are very good in English …. And …..it’s such a large group, I don’t know sometimes how some kids are , I have one student that lived 12 years in England he has to learn, English vocabulary and spelling, but he doesn’t need it he speaks English better than me with the right accent………………..one thing that I have to do with theses foreign students is use them better in class, for instance when thing I could do with the Polish students is let them use polish more for their own use…….. I mean let them translate over to polish or from polish to English, so they can connect with English I would then need another Polish person to help me go over the text to see if the translation is correct or not……………………………………………………
R: How do you help students overcome their learning difficulties?
……....do you use any specific strategy?
…... is there something the school could do to help?
