How do the Worlds of Human Geography and Physical Geography overlap? Human live in a big planet called the Earth. Earth is an amazing planet, the temperature of the planet is not too hot and not too cold, there have water and fit sunshine, anything is good in the Earth. Perhaps because the environment is too good, there are many other creatures live in the Earth too. Human live with other creatures in natural, and some of people start to learn about the natural and themselves. The thing they learn we called it Geography at present. The top place where the people live the longest is Okinawa, Japan. (Larsen) Why Japanese can live longer? Because Japanese live in a good environment and they eat healthily, but the most important reason is Japanese respect the natural. They are strict to their garbage classification, and never throw the garbage on the street or mountain. The transportation cost high in Japan, so most of Japanese will choose the public transportation which is cheaper and that is good for the environment. Because of the geology, there were not much factories in Japan. Less factories and less air pollution. I have been to Japan for many times, the streets and roads were always clean and beautiful, the sky were always blue, the air was fresh. Less pollution made the environment better, better environment made the plants and animals grow healthily so that people can enjoy the healthy food. If people can always eat healthy food, their life will be healthy and they can live longer. According to the latest data from Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, woman in Japan live an average of 87.2 years, man can live an average of 80.9 years.(Spitzer) Japanese show a good example of how the human geography and physical geography work …show more content…
For example, America make lot of air pollution; the major air pollution was not come from factories, is graze. Too many animals lived that made too much carbon dioxide and people cut down too many trees destroyed the forest. All these things destroyed the balance of natural. Over time, because there are too much carbon dioxide floating in the atmosphere a big problem appeared, the problem is global warming. Global warming raised the whole planet’s temperature up and the ice at the poles of the earth begins to melt. When the ice began to melt caused the sea level rise. Now, Horton’s research indicates that sea levels are rising faster than they have been in at least 2,700 years. Atlantic city is facing the risk of being submerged by the sea. (Hayden) Also a research shows that penguins on Antarctica, where their numbers have fallen from 32,000 breeding pairs to 11,000 in 30 years.
