Difference Between French Revolution And Glorious Revolution

Throughout history, there were many revolutions that happened making the world how it is today. There are both similarities and differences between the Glorious Revolution, the American Revolution and the French Revolution. All three revolutions are all unique in their own way, it relates to us today, and it impacted the modern world. First off, the Glorious Revolution happened in 1688-1689. It is also known as the Bloodless Revolution. The Glorious Revolution revolves around Mary II (James II’s daughter), William III (Prince of Orange), and James II. The revolution is about the English people revolting against James II because he ignored Parliament and only believed in power just like his father, Charles I. He was also Catholic and did not believe in enlightened idea. Furthermore, the revolution is mostly about William III taking the throne from James II. There were tensions between Parliament and James II, which lead to him being overthrown . That is when Mary II and William III signed the Bill of RIghts when James II fled to France. The cause of this war is because the British colonists in America did not like the rule of Great Britain and felt like they were not represented in the British government.
