The topic of discussion in the chapter is Race and Ethnicity. The chapter begins by stating the difference between race and ethnicity. According to the text race is seen as physical characteristics and ethnicity primarily in social & cultural forms of identification and self-identification. Then goes on to discuss the types of racisms, approaches towards racism, models and arguments.
