Critical thinking is being able to analyze and evaluate what you learn or read using the critical are thinking process. The critical thinking process consists of six steps they are remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The first step is remembering, with remembering you are asking yourself can you recall the key terms. Remembering is pretty low when it comes to the critical thinking process. You would use this level when the instructor tells you to make sure you can describe this or make sure you remember this. You would use your flash cards or notes to review when studying for a test. Understanding is the next step, with the step you would ask yourself can I explain what the idea is. Next is applying the question you will ask yourself is can I produce the idea into a result. You would use this level to describe something, apply, solve construct or predict and idea. This level pretty much means something like making a timeline for school then applying it to your everyday life. The fourth step is analyzing, with this step you would ask yourself can I divide the idea into parts, groups, or steps. In other words you would take the timeline idea and make something like an outline. You would make steps in order to get to the end of the timeline. The fifth step is evaluating, with this step you would want to know if you can rate the idea. You would want to make sure that everything you are doing in the previous steps can be accomplished. The final step is creating. With this step you would want to make sure that you can create something new with the idea. Can you create a timeline or power point
