After reviewing all the evidence I have come to the conclusion that Matthew Maloy Murdered Robert Burlington. I have come to this conclusion using entomology and through the use of fingerprint, blood, tire track, and hair analysis. The fingerprint tests´ showed us that the only people who touched the bloody tire iron were Nicole Burlington and Matthew Maloy. Nicole Burlington is the spouse of the victim so her touching the item is reasonable but Matthew Maloy touching it is strange especially because we later learned Matthew Maloy shares the same blood type found on the tire iron meaning this was possibly the murder weapon.…
SYNOPSIS: On 11-21-15, Cann McMillin reported that an unknown female suspect had entered her residence on 11-21-15, while she was home, and took a laptop computer, which belonged to a guest of McMillin's, Hayley Pierce. Pierce, who was also home at the time, saw the suspect run out of the residence. Pierce described the suspect to another guest at the residence, Stephanie Peters, who believed that the suspect resembled a female passenger in the "Uber" car she had used to arrive at the residence earlier in the evening. This particular case was about a crime that happened in the early nineties. An armored car was held up at gunpoint and twenty thousand dollars was taken from inside of it (Precedential, 2004). It was thought that the robbery itself was performed by William Robinson and Terrence Stewart. Byron Mitchell had waited in a car nearby as their getaway driver. The first thing I would do in processing the crime scene is interview the first officer that arrived at the crime scene to establish a theory of the case. Second I would examine the crime scene to see if the theory of the case is substantiated by what I observed. During this time I would start identifying possible items of evidence, identifying entry and exit points and getting a general outline of the homicide scene. Third, I would take some pictures.
