They are motivated by competition; they like to be the best of the best. Controllers like to stand out from the crowd and make a name for themselves. This personality type is motivated by the idea of success and is willing to work extremely hard to achieve the ideal view of it. Most of all, Controllers are self-motivated in the way that these individuals will do almost anything to achieve their goals. Once their goals are achieved, however, they will aspire new goals and then seek to conquer those. Lackadaisicals are also self-motivated, but in different ways than Controllers. Lackadaisicals strive to achieve goals at their own set pace. These respective beings enjoy their achievement of personal goals, however, Type Bs will not be devastated if they fall short from their goal. Lackadaisicals are more accepting of failures than Controllers are. Sometimes, if Lackadaisicals are too laid back about their goals, they can lack the drive to reach the top of their careers. These two groups are lovingly stereotyped as Controllers and Lackadaisicals. They have many similarities in their personalities, but even more differences.
