Hamilton lived his life to the fullest and achieved many things. He always spoke his mind and took risks like he had nothing to lose. Leading up to the duel of Hamilton and Burr, there was fighting between each other for years. When Burr decided to run against Hamilton’s father-in-law for the Senate seat, it caused a huge controversy between the two. Hamilton still furious about his switch to a Democratic-Republican just to take Schuyler seat as senate, lead him to fight against Burr when the election of 1800 occurred.
