The American and French Revolutions had many similarities and differences. One of the few differences would be that the French Revolution was much more violent and brutal. Whereas, in the American Revolution, the war was more civilized. Beheading their own king was a major act of violence that was shown in the French Revolution. In the American Revolution, the colonies didn’t want to hurt the king, they just wanted to separate from the King of Britain. Another difference in the revolutions would be the geography.
