The Zone Diet is not a diet that I have tried personally, but I do know a few people that have tried it. The diet is aimed to help those who would like to lose weight. The theory behind the diet is that a person must keep their blood sugar stable and have proper hormone levels, which helps promote weight loss. The Zone Diet is relatively inexpensive if you choose to purchase your own foods. However, if you choose to purchase “Zone Foods” through their website, it can add up quickly. When on the Zone Diet, women are to eat no more than 1,200 calories per day, and men, no more than 1,500. Following this diet, a person will eat five times a day: three meals and two snacks.
