Gas Trucks or Diesel Trucks Everywhere you go, there is always going to be a truck for show or work. Some have better motors and looks, others just get people from point A to point B. No matter what kind of truck “ chevy,dodge, or ford” they all have different motors from diesel to gas. The classifications of them will help you better decide from what you want, puller or just a cruiser. Diesel trucks are a more common pulling and show truck. A diesel engine has around 370 horsepower and 750 pounds of torque in a stock engine, making it a better truck to haul heavy loads with things with(6.6L Duramax LML SPECS)(6.7L Cummins Horsepower & Torque by model year)(Ford Diesel specification). Diesel trucks are used to pull trailers and other big loads like cattle trailers, equipment, and pulling trailers at fairs. Diesel trucks are also more commonly tricked out to sport around, they pull good, sound good, and look good. Gas engines come with less torque and horsepower, therefore, making them not as suitable for towing heavy loads like a diesel truck. Gas trucks are cheaper on fuel unlike a diesel but have about the same gas mileage as each other which make it better to travel around the country and joy ride. Older people like to buy the newest gas trucks with their retirement money that ride smooth. Most gas trucks are not tricked out as often as people with the diesel trucks, they are not as powerful and loud as a diesel can be, therefore making it a nice smooth quiet truck for older people. A gas truck is a good truck for companies that give out work trucks because they are not used to haul big loads really but they still show your masculinity off.
