Transportation is one of the most integral parts of today’s society. We need vehicles to travel to and from our respective destinations. The consequences of using transportation that requires fuel, such as gasoline and diesel, are carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). As we are traveling to our destinations, CO2 and NO2, known to contain carcinogens, are mixing with the atmosphere, which is affecting our bodies and environment.
