The Spirit of Detroit is a sculpture made in the heart of Detroit. It is a large bronze statue, standing twenty-six feet high and is located at the Coleman A. Young Municipal center on Woodward Avenue. Behind the statue, is a Courts Tower's marble wall element that has various passages, symbols, and writings that symbolize Detroit. To take a break from the busy schedule I have as a student, and to avoid writing more essays like this, I went on a vacation to Michigan with my mother and two siblings. A First Impression Eddie Rivera was a man that stood in the front of the classroom as it was flooding with kids, and just getting one look at him I thought he was going to be pretentious and a man that would basically flatter himself the entire presentation.
