Did the U.S. do enough? Or was it too inefficient?
Abstract:
From the decades of 1950 to 1990, the United States and the Soviet Union have been involved in a global power struggle to see who is the superior superpower. This period in history is referred to as the Cold War. A few years after World War 2, the US and her allies feared that the power vacuum left would be highjacked by the soviets to spread their ideology of communism unto neighboring countries, including democratic ones.
