Immigration laws have resulted in a situation where many illegal immigrants live and work in the United States. It is an important issue that has been blown out of proportion by the media and politicians. Immigrants did not migrate to the United States until 1965, when the quota system ended and immigration was endorsed. His main goal is “to send a positive message instead of one driven by fear.” Syrians from all over the US thank him and appreciate his effort. Muslims have been stereotypically characterized as danger when that is the exact opposite of what they seek. Syrian refugees fled from their chaotic homelands and hope to pursue stability and peace. If we give these people a chance, they can enrich our culture and influence the world like these families have.
