Some believe the holocaust could not have been prevented because Hitler would have killed anyone who got in his way.The death penalty was imposed on anyone who tried to “undermine the will to fight” or anyone who attempted to make profit of the war. People are capable of anything if they try hard enough, having both positive and negative effects “We must realize that while Auschwitz belongs to the past, genocide has and can happen again, and the perpetrators can be human beings much more similar to all of us than we would like to believe.
