Did Benjamin Franklin Be One Too?

When someone may think of Enlightened philosophers, they probably think of Voltaire, John Adams, John Locke, and so on, yet did anyone ever think that Benjamin Franklin could be one too? Benjamin was born in his hometown Boston, Massachusetts. He was born on January 17 in 1706. He died on April 17 in 1790. He lived to be 84 years of age. His father was Josiah Franklin. His father worked as a soap maker. His mother was Abiah Folger. She was the second wife that Josiah Franklin had. Benjamin Franklin’s father wished to Benjamin to be a clergyman, but this did not happen, considering that he only had enough money to send Benjamin to school for one year or two years, and to be a clergyman, he must have several years of going to school. Benjamin Franklin was taken out of school when he was ten years old. Josiah Franklin had seventeen children, including Benjamin Franklin. Benjamin Franklin was married Deborah Read. He met her in October 26, 1723. They got married in 1730.

He eventually moved and had a printing business that was doing well. In 1749, he retired from his business and began focusing science, observations, and innovation. This was not a sudden shift, for the reason being that in 1743 he created a heat stove that would help warm houses. Benjamin’s invention was named the Franklin stove after him. In addition, he designed swimming fins, the glass harmonica, and glasses. In the 1750’s, Benjamin chose to research electricity, hence the kite experiment with a key during a thunderstorm.
