Dick Clark had always been interested in music. At the age of 13 he dreamed of being a DJ. Clark worked at his uncle's radio station (larkin,comp, 2002). Dick Clark inherited the skill of show business from his uncle. Dick Clark's dream of becoming a DJ became true after he was invited to American Bandstand as a substitute where he later stayed as host(larkin,comp, 2002). Dick Clark was invited to the show that changed his life. Dick Clark was invited to American Bandstand as a substitute were we would soon become the host. American Bandstand was a music show idea that became a show in September 17. Clark would show local musicians for a shot at fame. Smoe of the musicians include Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, and Fabian (seacrest,2012).
