Diary Entry Benjamin Frank

Decent Essays
Dear diary, I'm kind of concerned about the Frank family. They just told me a story (mr. and mrs. Frank) that I think could potentially put them in danger. Of Course I can't tell them that because i don't want to worry them anymore than they already are. So basically, yesterday after the Hanukkah party, which i helped set up there was an invasion! Somebody broke into the office and caused much commotion. At First, the way the person violently broke in, everyone thought it was the green police. Everyone just stood there in horror, waiting for the police to come drag them away. Little Anne was so scared, she literally fainted. At that point, there was nothing anyone could do, besides wait… And if there weren't too many of them, maybe try to …show more content…
So now, not only does this man know people live in this office secretly, but also that their Jewish. So he most likely knows they are in hiding. Even though he's a thief, he still might tell somebody. Do I think he’d risk losing his freedom just to get the families and mr. Dussel in trouble? No, not at al. Unless he was stupid. But i think one day he will get questioned, or even caught, and will bargain with the green police to keep his own self out of trouble. Im thankful it wasn't the green police, but i'm still very worried about them. Their lives are in danger even more now, than before. I know they are all very stressed out and scared right now, that's why i don't want to tell them my thoughts, but i'm extremely worried about their safety. Should i talk to them or not? Ugh! Im torn. I want to tell them just because i am so concerned but at the same time, theres nothing that can be done. Theres nowhere else to go, and plus its too late. If they leave they could be seen, which is even riskier. Therefore i think im just going to keep this one to myself… No, no, i cant. I need to tell them. Im not telling them to scare them, im telling them so they can be

Anne’s diary begins on her thirteenth birthday, June 12, 1942, and ends shortly after her fifteenth.
