Diane Munoz Self Analysis

The Self-Analysis of Diane Munoz I am a 38 year old single Mexican/American female that is trying her best to finish school. I was born in Houston, Texas in 1976 and moved to the Conroe area when I turned 10. I do not have any children of my very own but I spiritually adopted a young man that I met while working at a detention facility for undocumented minors. He is my biggest joy and my most hurtful pain. I never knew being a mother would be such a hard job. I have been in the dental field for over 12 years and the medical field for 4 years prior to that. Due to a personal crisis, I am not employed at the moment and worry about losing my house every day. I would say my personality is hard to peg down. I have been diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety for over 10 years now. I wake up not knowing who or how I am going to feel that day. When people meet me on a manic day, I am the life of the party. When they meet me on a depressed day (I like to call them low days) they think of me as boring or easily agitated. It is hard to keep friends with this situation and I have yet to get used to it. I looked over the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and chose the letters that I …show more content…
I thought myself to be an “S” because it stands for Sensing and I feel like I focus on the present but I decided to take another test and it proved to be what I was thinking. On the Jung test my typology did end up being sensing although it did also stated that “Because you appear to have marginal or no (1%) preference of Sensing over Intuition, characteristics of more than one personality type may apply to you.” (Jung Typology Test™, 2015) So there you have it, I am both. Sensing, being that I am focused on the present and Intuition (N), that I am focused on the future. I feel that both describe me completely because I am a natural

Editorial Feedback I had the opportunity to read my classmate Ana Ortiz’s autobiography whom I enjoyed learning more about. The part about her sister getting Dengue virus made the autobiography more interesting. There were enough details about her personal life to allow readers to get a general idea of who she is. I liked that Ana focused on being a part of the Latino community, but she should expand on it.…

Being an extrovert, I thrive in social environments. As an ESFJ, facts and details are imperative to properly understand and execute directions. I often react to my feelings in the moment rather than evaluating the situation which can result in being easily agitated with an inability to be discrete about my frustration.…

The results of my personality inventory indicate that I have a Type A personality (350 out of 380). Type A personalities are often impatient, have difficulty relaxing, and are competitive (Gray-Stanley, 2009). My impatience is evident when I take my dogs out for their bathroom breaks. As dogs will do, they sniff every bush in the yard before urinating and I find myself scolding them for being too slow. In addition, relaxation is not part of my vocabulary at this time as I constantly feel the need to complete homework or study for a test.…

I am both Type A and Type B. I can see myself being both, although I am slightly toward Type A than B in my daily activities, but I see both personality very clearly in my life. This score means that I can balance my priorities / responsibilities and well manage my stress. I am definitely a perfectionist, keep a constant loock at my watch (the only hand jewelry I wear), walk fast, eat fast, ignore fatigue while doing strenuous work and very competitive. Consequently, I am serious, but easy going, enjoy leisure (reading or watching comedy, but only when I’m done with all my work), prefer a quiet & tranquil lifestyle and have a tremendous drive. I’m somewhat impress that I can relate to both side of the personality…

There are five elements that compose the Big Five Personality Type. These factors consist of Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism, which can also be referred to as OCEAN. After taking the “What Is My Big Five Personality Profile” test, I scored the highest on the Emotional Stability, followed by a three-way tie with Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness; the lowest score I received was for Extraversion, I received a 10 out of 10 on the Emotional Stability category; this means that I am a relaxed, secure, unworried individual. I completely agree with this result, generally I tend to be an laid-back individual that tries to see the positive and rarely stress over the insignificant things in life.…

My personality type according to the Jung personality quiz is INTP. I mostly agree with the description of INTPs except for the part that states INTPs prefer word games and strategy games. I find such structured games to be boring, and I’m not good at them, I prefer games that have a story-telling element. I also like card games that require speed and pattern recognition, like peanuts and Egyptian war. I am very logic oriented, which is common for INTPs.…
