Love is known as a beautiful feeling that makes people feel comfortable, good, special, etc. But love also has some negative consequences and these consequences generally affect a lot the society. Furthermore, the worst part of all is that we cannot stop love's consequences, good or bad; these cannot be stopped because, according to Diane Ackerman's quote "love is the great intangible" which means we cannot touch it nor feel it with any of our senses, if not with our heart. Love affects the minds of people and consequently may drive them to craziness and through that, people pitifully will be able to do things that are not normal, things such as killing a person. That is terrible! Love does not allow them to make sense. These kind of murders are better known as, according to Ackerman's essay, line 46, "a crime of passion". This effect of love in people's mind, comes from a long time ago. It is even included in folk stories, where, according to Ackerman, lines 54-55, "...unsuspecting lads and lasses ingest a love potion and quickly lose their hearts". Love's meaning is better known, as we said before, as a beautiful feeling where people feel lost in a wonderful world where everything is allowed, even murder. However, people, due to ignorance, changed it completely. Love is now known as a horrible feeling and you should be scared of falling in it.
