Both men and women have criticized feminism; they accused the movement as victimizing men and putting women on a pedestal, some people even accuse the movement as a threat to the family unit. People theorized that if a woman were to work the children would become dysfunctional. Other stereotypes of feminism received from both men and women are; feminist hates men, lesbians, ugly women, angry women, and that only women are feminist. But why the term feminism, why not a human rights activist, some people ask. Well to not call it feminism would be depriving the whole point of the movement. It is women who are treated unfairly throughout history. Even as of 2016 women still make 77 cents to every dollar a man makes. At one point woman were not allowed to vote. Women are not equal to men just quite yet whatever fight there is left; it is filling in those gaps. To shortly put it, the whole point of the movement is to put women and men on the same level.
The Goal, what Wonder Woman fights for? She wants society to reach Utopia. Not a civilization where one advances through technology, and economically, but a society that maintains social equality of the sexes, and social class, everyone is educated and has a sense of what is right and people finding happiness.
