Diamond Evolution Fitness Center provides our clients with an example to show how their basic needs are met by utilizing their resources to purchase our products and services, instead of in the secondary industry. This is also a way to increase clientele by creating an emotional appeal and ensure our client turnover ratio does not increase. Emotional appeals are intended to tap an underlying psychological benefit to the purchase decision to stimulate greater memory of the brand name, and emphasize emotional and social benefits to the clients (Winer & Dhar, 2011, p. 296). When we give our clients this graph, we ask them to write their idea of each of the five needs and then compare how our products and service will enhance the things they enjoy and consider necessities in their life. Our program begins with an orientation for each client to introduce them to our entire staff, which creates an emotional bond and the feeling of being a member of our facility. Each client also receives a personalized nutrition counseling session, and a personal goal setting session to ensure we have created a path for success. In addition to furnished meal plans and a healthy eating grocery shopping list catered to each client’s body and needs, we take before and after photos so they will be able to see their progression throughout our program.
Once clients have completed these steps, they will be introduced to a personal trainer who will be able to personally assist them through the duration of their membership via phone, email, or meetings. This will allow our clients to contact their personal trainer when they are not sure what to order at a restaurant, or if they have to take a tip and do not have access to our facility, they will still be able to continue to work out while they travel.
