Bell rings loudly and it transitions to the trio in the principal's office. Jem clacks her claws against the principal's desk, eyebrow twitching. Her fighting buzz hadn’t worn off and she hated getting in trouble with school, she was a bit of a teacher’s pet; Kass being the rare exception. She was also pretty pisses that blood from her wound was soaking her favorite shirt. Honey’s leg is bouncing, the motion creating an unbearable clacking sound against the polished wood. She looks over Jem’s side and frets over the ripped side of her shirt, muttering a chant of ‘she’s okay, she’s healed’ underneath her breath all the while.
Venus yawns, typing on his phone.
VENUS: *looks at a fretting Honey* I could pretend that I don’t want to rub this in, but I do. I told you so.
JEM: Told her what?
VENUS: We made a bet you couldn’t stay out of a fight before the month ended.
Jem growls.
HONEY: No, we didn’t!
VENUS: *knows Honey is lying but won’t call her out on it* Fine, it was just me. Regardless, you proved me right

Women are constantly used in art for pleasure and the goddess of love, Venus, is frequently used as the perfect woman to gaze upon. Titian met the viewers’ attention when using Venus in his piece Venus of Urbino, 1538. However, another art painting attracted more attention when depicting a nude woman in a similar style of Venus, Olympia, 1863, by Edouard Manet. Manet’s use of a nude woman is considered blasphemy due to comparing a low class woman to a goddess.…

In this story many of the children on Venus are jealous of Margot’s opportunities and previous life on earth. When children are jealous, they turn against Margot. One example is when she is reading the poem, instead of listening to Margot the students shut her down without even listening. Just because students are jealous it does not mean that they can bully Margot. While this is important theme it is easily seen that if it weren’t for Margot not thinking about what she said or did that this wouldn’t have happened, so overall the important point is that it is needed for everyone to take a minute an think about the results in the end from what they…
