Dialogue Essay: Why George Doesn T Have A Father

George is an only child and doesn’t have a father because he was killed in a car crash. George’s mom is very sick and does not have enough money to buy some medicine. Every day, George looks up and down the streets looking for loose change.
One day, he came across a poster that read, “Do you have skills?” George looked at the bottom of the poster. In big bold letters it read, “Grand Prize: $100,000.”
“Wow!” said George. “I’m going to win that contest!”
George started to train, even though he didn’t know what he was training for. He did every single exercise there was. Here are some of them: push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, wall sits, planks, and 1,000 jumping jacks.

A big “3” popped up, then a “2,” and finally “1.” The voice boomed “Go!”
Everyone sprinted to the first challenge. It was a huge brick wall, nobody could climb it except George! Ten seconds later, almost everybody was over the wall. The next challenge was a spike pit. George got to the rope first. He swung over the pit barely missing a spike. Only two other people made it because the third person cut the rope off. The final challenge looked impossible because there was a tunnel of spikes. That’s when George noticed that the spikes weren’t real, they were fake. They had been painted to make it look like there was spikes. So George crept through the tunnel and nobody noticed. He saw the finish line. He ran through it.
The voice said, “We have a winner! George Bailey, please meet me at my office.”
When he got to the office, he saw someone sitting in a chair. The man turn around. He smiled. “Hello, George,” he said.
“Where is the money?” George said.
“I have one thing to say before that.”
“What?” said George.
“George, I am your father.”
One hour later, George was in a big house with his dad and mom. “Wow,” said George, “I do have skills.” George lived a very happy life after
