Now, because I did not have my biological father with me growing up, when I had children, I purposely ensured they had validation. I raised two sons as a single mother for most of their lives. I put them through school, taught them how to respect and interact with women, and when they had children of their own, by the way, girls; they understood the importance of validating them early. And I could not be more proud of my sons how they treat their daughters, my granddaughters know the power of being validated and supported, for which I am so thankful that my sons got the lesson.
