The latest part of the reading has gone by really slow as the past 5 chapters only seem to be in to two different settings during a single night. It seems like Holden is recollecting way more than a real human being would be able to recollect. He is telling us every single possible detail about where he is and what he is experiencing. I have also found it hard to connect to this portion of the book as he his dunk for a good bit of it.

The part I was able to connect with the book is Phoebe as she acts similar to my younger brother. She acts similar to my brother because he really looks up to my older brother, like Phoebe seems to idolize her brother D.B. “Phoebe likes to sleep in D.B.’s room when he’s away”, this is just what happens in my house (page 159). My older plays competitive hockey so when he goes on a road trip for a few nights my younger brother always likes to sleep in my brothers bed. It is not just because his bed is bigger it is that my younger brother admires him so much. …show more content…
It is actually kind of creepy because they both literally have the exact same clothes in their closets. Some days they will be wearing the same shirt or pants and I always bug him about it, but he constantly denies that they are the same clothes. I do not know why he idolizes our older brother so much and I wonder if he’ll ever grow out of
