NARRATOR: After realizing his terrible and unforgivable mistake, Creon rushes to Antigone’s tomb. The sky was as dark as the dirt beneath his feet, but he knew he had to keep going. He couldn’t be the reason for her demise, not anymore, at least. Of course, Creon knew that if Antigone died, then everything he cared about would be destroyed too. The tomb was exactly the way he left it, isolated and lonely. Teiresias’ words were left ringing in his head as he rushed to the entrance. CREON: I’m so sorry, my dear wife. It’s my fault that our son is dead. I wish I could bring him back, but I can’t. My poor son. My dear son. Did you do this to spite me because of everything that happened to your love, Antigone?

ANTIGONE: Where is he from? Can I go see him? I want to say my last goodbye to my fiance. The maids escort Antigone and Creon into another room where a large wooden structure is sitting.

CREON: Is that him up ahead? My poor son, I’m so sorry that this happened to you! Forgive me for my misdeeds! The gods have damned this family to its grave and it’s all my fault! Creon rushes out of the room as Antigone steps towards Haimon’s
